By collaborating with Scent Journer, Compendium created a signature fragrance inspired by their unique Rojak gin and solved shophouse plumbing issue.

The Inspiration
With Compendium’s signature array of locally inspired distillates and Anthology’s unique bar experience, the creation of a signature fragrance is inspired by these alcohols.
From their wide selection, we narrowed it down to their unique Rojak gin, and thus the fragrance ‘Heritage Rojak Blossom’ was born!

The Fragrance
‘Heritage Rojak Blossom’ is a sensorial indulgence that embodies heritage and sophistication, capturing the captivating essence of a rojak-infused gin on ice, elevating your sensory journey to new heights.
The fragrance indulges you with a burst of aromatic juniper berry which is a key ingredient in gins and is intertwined with the chilled torch ginger flower and invigorating bright lemon, evoking a sense of heritage, sophistication, and well-being.
As the scent unfolds,
The heart envelops you in a cooling accord made to replicate the torch ginger lily, an ingredient commonly used in Rojak. The cooling sensation comes from the crisp scent of cypress, mirroring the feeling of ice cubes gently melting against the skin and the accord also contains a light sprinkle of pink pepper and ginger. This demonstrates Compendium's dedication to creating complex and well-balanced spirits.
Creative, Quality, Heritage
The fragrance then gracefully settles into a comforting trail of grounding sandalwood, nutmeg, and cedarwood, creating a lasting and captivating foundation to represent Compendium's commitment to uncompromising quality.
Heritage Rojak Blossom
Using the fragrance oil produced, we created a custom 10ml Room Spray and a hand and body wash for sale in their Anthology Outlet.
The bottling and customized packaging were done lovingly by hand, in-house at our Fragrance Lab. We customized our signature travel drawer box and label for the room spray to a design that better reflected Compendium’s classy style and heritage. We also used a different bottle and matching label for the hand and body wash to keep the theme cohesive throughout.
Keep bar smelling Clean & Fresh
Due to the older nature of the shophouses at Circular Road, they would like to eliminate unpleasant malodor coming from the plumbing systems. After many futile attempts to cleanse and purge the scent (as the old plumbing systems are shared across a large stretch of shophouses causing sewage from other, older parts of the system to come rushing back), they decided that an odor-neutralizing solution might be their best bet. Hence they came to us hoping for a fragrance solution.
To tackle the unpleasant odors, we mixed our odor-neutralizing solution into our fragrance oil and room spray solvent to create a mixture that we diffused throughout the store using our industrial-sized nebulizer.
Our odor-neutralizing solution traps odor molecules in the air and breaks them down, thus eliminating bad, fishy odors and leaving only the enticing smell of our fragrance wafting in the air.
